Our 2012 bookings have begun with a performance at Leeds University on Sunday 26th February 2012.

Welcome to the Maraca2 Official Website!

Inspired by the vision of an exciting showcase of percussive virtuosity, ‘Maraca2 Percussion Duo’ formed in 2004. Since then the duo have received critical acclaim and have transpired into the UK’s most Internationally established percussion duo. An eclectic blend of repertoire spanning over 200 years, from marimba arrangements of popular classics such as Chopin’s Fantaisie Impromptu in C Sharp Minor, to influences of Jazz, Funk and Pop, have taken Maraca2 extensively around the World, including South America, Caribbean, USA, Europe and a recital on the World’s biggest percussion stage, the ‘Percussive Arts Society International Convention’, 2009 in Indianapolis, USA (PASIC). 2010 has also seen Maraca2 appear, representing Great Britain at the International Marimba Festival and conference in Minneapolis, USA.
